IntelliJ: recommended vmoptions settings to improve performance

Currently using these settings

-Xms512m
-Xmx2048m
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m
-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=256m
-XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-ea
-Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

If that doesn't work, I'll try and update bin/idea64.vmoptions to:

-server
-Xms1024m
-Xmx1024m
-XX:NewSize=128m
-XX:MaxNewSize=128m
-XX:PermSize=256m
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m
-XX:+UseParNewGC
-XX:ParallelGCThreads=4
-XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1
-XX:SurvivorRatio=8
-XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-XX:+AggressiveOpts
-XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled
-XX:+CMSIncrementalMode
-XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing
-XX:+CMSParallelRemarkEnabled
-XX:CMSInitiatingOccupancyFraction=65
-XX:+CMSScavengeBeforeRemark
-XX:+UseCMSInitiatingOccupancyOnly
-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=64m
-XX:-TraceClassUnloading
-ea
-Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false
